The Social Democrats is an electoral alliance between two social democratic political parties known as the Labor Party and the Populists of the Left.

On 16 September 2018, the Labor Party and the Populists of the Left entered into an agreement that stated the former would only contest elections in urban and suburban constituencies while the latter would only contest elections in rural constituencies.
